about secret fire

mission and vision

Secret Fire is inspired by a phrase from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings when Gandalf says, “I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the Flame of Arnor. You cannot pass! The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udûn.” (Watch the clip from the Jackson Trilogy) This reference to the “Secret Fire” is the power of creation used to give life to the world and peoples of Middle-earth and is an alternate name for the Holy Spirit in Tolkien’s mythos. A helpful translation of this phrase to our world would be, “I am a servant of God, wielder of the power of light. The dark fire will not avail you, servant of Hell!”

Secret Fire as a business, then, has the mission of also being a “servant of the Secret Fire”. We use our God-given creativity and skills in web design to glorify God through helping other humans beings build exceptional websites that display their skills and passions. God has gifted everyone with special abilities; let Secret Fire help you put them on display.

Secret Fire works with all types of businesses and organizations, faith-based or not, and we would love to bring your ideas to life!
